Stress is as usual as a math class in a student’s life. Managing stress is a skill and can be acquired by seeking guidance. There exists positive stress under which a person functions effectively. The workshop will cover the aspects of positive stress or eustress.
Skills Gained: Students will learn to set goals and learn to prioritise activities to avoid stress. They will avail techniques to manage time effectively. The skill to seek help while under pressure is an important aspect that will be covered by our team. Maintaining calendars and to-do lists will also be discussed.

Emotional health is an important aspect of an individual’s life. Students who are emotionally healthy are well developed socially and are in control of their thoughts, feelings and behaviors and in turn are better equipped to cope with life challenges. Emotional wellbeing is an awareness that could get you going. The session will discuss the importance of practicing mindfulness and emotional wellbeing.
Skills Gained: Our workshops will provide tips to maintain emotional balance. Students will learn skills to maintain a journal. They’ll learn to identify positive relations and how to get into one. Dealing with peer pressure and practicing emotional aid will also be covered.
Abilities to relate to other children do not develop unless they can learn to rely on others. In the kindergarten, children build a reliable relationship with friends by playing games and group play, by playing in the same sandbox, and by facing experiences in their play and in life in which they have to cooperate and discuss. Cooperation leads to a feeling of equality and equity and hence provides a strong foundation against bullying.
Skills Gained: The workshop will arm teachers with techniques to enhance peer relations in her students. The workshop will also focus on understanding the nature of bullying and empower the teacher to effectively curb any such instances from the root.

Understanding risk and protective factors that may affect the development of substance abuse is a first step in ameliorating the problem of drug use in the pediatric population. This article reviews the literature on the prediction, protection, and prevention of substance abuse in the pediatric population, including a list of available prevention programs for children across the age continuum.
Skills Gained: Students will learn the risk factors attached to indulging in drug abuse. They’ll learn to handle peer pressure and feelings of using or starting drug use. They’ll learn about asking for help and counselling.
