A shift in college admission process has been the move away from focussing only on marks scored to a more holistic approach of assessing the individual applicant. As colleges begin to look beyond academics to decide applications and admissions, the student has to focus on demonstrating his interest and ability in pursuing a certain subject or field by showcasing skills and learnings that they accumulate throughout their high school journey. In the present scenario, stand-alone ancillary organisations offer this to students at a very steep price. The commercialisation of education is also heart-breaking!
At EduHigher-Ed we will locate, define and structure pedagogical practices that the school can use to build student profile. We will also partner with our university mentors to put together classroom strategies that will impart effective 21st century skills within the curriculum. This dialogic space will further enhance school-higher education conversations.
